Regulatory & CSA Z662-2023 : Pipeline Systems Code Requirements

 

Regulations and Codes Have Recently Changed! This two-day course (1.6 CEUs 16 PDH) will bring you up to date and provide a thorough understanding of the Regulatory requirements and the standard CSA Z662 Pipeline Systems. 

 

Dates: May 29th - 30th, 2024 

          &

September 18th – 19th, 2024 

Code requirements for Design, Fabrication, Inspection, and Testing in accordance with CSA Z662 for New Construction, and Post Construction Repairs and Maintenance work will be presented. CSA, ASTM, and API Material Standards and Welding qualifications will be covered. Management System Requirements, and Primary Roles and Responsibilities will be covered. An important part of achieving these objectives is to understand the Jurisdictional Requirements such as the Provincial and Federal Pipeline Acts and Regulations. The Jurisdictional Boundaries between the Pressure Equipment Regulator (e.g. ABSA) and the Pipeline Systems Regulator (e.g. AER, BCER, SER, CER) will be discussed. Practical field examples will be discussed.

Course presentation materials will be provided to all participants. Attendees may benefit from bringing a copy of the CSA Z662 standard to the course, but it is not mandatory. The instructors will show participants how to obtain a free copy of CSA Z662.

Cost: $1,550/Participant CAD plus GST. Lunch will be provided for course attendees.

CANCELLATION POLICY: 

  • Cancellations received in writing 10 or more full business days before the course start date may request a full refund (less a $100 processing fee) or a credit to be applied to a future course (must be used within 1 year).

  • Cancellations received in writing 1 to 10 full business days before course start date will only be eligible to receive a credit for a future course (must be used within 1 year).

  • “No Shows” will forfeit payment. No credits will be issued.

  • Credits are transferable but once they expire there is no refund or extensions.

Group 10 Instructors can provide Custom training to fit your requirements, either at our location or yours, on the date of your preference.  Group 10 Instructors are extremely knowledgeable and can cater the training to best suit the learners needs.
